Should my husband be scared to travel to Bermuda. (Bermuda Triangle)?
I've been hearing alot about the music festivals that goes on every year in Bermuda and I would like to attend this year. I think they usually have it somewhere around the first week in october. well, the thing is this bermuda triangle thing. My husband refuses to go and don't want me to go without him. Of course I won't, but can anyone give me some info on the bermuda Triangle that will put him more at ease of going. He says with his luck he may just go over there and disappear. I've heard that the triangle is of san juan / puerto rico, miami florida and bermuda. Of course, I don't know for sure, could someone please help me with this.
No, it seems to be imaginary.
The Bermuda Triangle
The "Bermuda Triangle" or "Devil's Triangle" is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States of America, which is noted for a supposedly high incidence of unexplained disappearances of ships and aircraft. The apexes of the triangle are generally believed to be Bermuda; Miami, Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The US Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as an official name. The US Navy does not believe the Bermuda Triangle exists. It is reported that Lloyd's of London, the world's leading market for specialist insurance, does not charge higher premiums for vessels transiting this heavily traveled area.
